Wearer App
Every firefighter sees their own kit. No app store required.
A progressive web app for wearers — works on any phone, no download. PPE status dashboard, issue reporting with camera and GPS, measurement self-entry, helpdesk ticket viewing, and delivery acknowledgement.
PPE status dashboard
One screen. Every garment. Current status.
The wearer opens the app and sees their complete kit assignment. Each garment shows its current status — in service, at the laundry, in repair, condemned, replacement ordered. A kit diagram shows the full set with colour-coded status indicators.
Green means compliant and in service. Amber means the garment is being processed. Red means condemned or missing — a replacement is either on order or already dispatched. The wearer knows the status of every item without calling anyone.
Issue reporting
Photo. Location. Description. Submitted in under a minute.
Wearers report issues directly from the app. Take a photo of the damage, add a description, and the app captures the GPS location automatically. The report creates a helpdesk ticket with all the context the ops team needs to act.
Structured issue types ensure the right information is captured for each scenario. No free-text guessing. The wearer selects the issue type and the form adapts.

Self-service
Measurements, deliveries, tickets — no phone calls.
Wearers update their own body measurements when sizing changes. The system validates the entries against reasonable ranges and flags anything unusual for manual review. Updated measurements feed directly into the next replacement order.
Delivery acknowledgement is built in. When clean kit arrives at the station, the wearer confirms receipt in the app. The system records the acknowledgement against the delivery and updates the garment status to in-service. Helpdesk tickets are visible with full conversation history — the wearer tracks their own issue to resolution.
Onboarding flow
PIN login. Guided setup. Productive in two minutes.
Wearers authenticate with a PIN — no email address, no password to remember. The first login walks them through a guided onboarding flow: confirm your details, review your kit assignment, enter your measurements if they are missing.
The app runs as a PWA. The wearer adds it to their home screen from the browser — no app store, no IT department approval, no device management. Works on any phone with a browser.
