The driver scans the cage at the station. From that moment the system knows which garments are on the van, and the firefighter can see that their kit has gone for cleaning.
Arrival and batch creation

At the sort bench every garment is scanned in. The system groups them into wash batches by garment type and contamination, and prints nothing: the batch exists on the screen and on the cage.
Wash
Floor station
The wash station shows which programme the batch needs. The operator loads the machine and confirms. The wash is recorded against every garment in the batch.
Dry and drying hall

Garments are scanned onto the drying route. The drying hall screen shows what is in, what is ready and what has waited too long.
Inspection
Floor station
The inspector works on a drawing of that garment type and marks every finding where it is. The outcome is pass, repair or condemn. Findings that the standard treats as a hard fail go straight to condemned.
Repair

Repairs are listed from the inspection marks, not retyped. A repaired garment goes back through inspection before it can be packed.
Packing

The system builds the pick list per firefighter. The put wall shows which slot each garment goes in, so a set is complete before it is sealed.
Dispatch and delivery

The driver scans the cage out, follows the round, and photographs the handover at the station. The delivery is on record with time, place and picture.
Back with the wearer
Wearer app
The firefighter sees that the clean, checked set is at the station. If anything is missing, they know before the shift, not during it.

Nothing moves between steps without a scan. Position and history are facts, not recollections.

Routing, programmes and outcomes follow rules set up for your garments. The operator confirms; they do not look things up.
One live picture
The hub floor map, the flow board and the exceptions list all read from the same record. Management sees it as it happens.
