Quality management

Spot recurring defects before they become systemic.

Every quality failure documented. Every corrective action tracked to closure. Root cause analysis that shows patterns — not just individual incidents. When the same seam fails on the same product from the same supplier, the system makes it visible.

NCR lifecycle

Four statuses. Clear ownership at every stage.

Draft

NCR created, details being captured

Open

Closed

Corrective actions verified

Each NCR is assigned an owner responsible for driving it to closure. Status transitions are logged with timestamps and the user who made the change. An NCR cannot be closed until all corrective actions are marked complete.

Root cause analysis

What happened. Why it happened. What to change.

The NCR form captures the non-conformance description, affected garments, affected processes, and the immediate containment action taken. The investigation section records the root cause analysis — what failed, why it failed, and what systemic change will prevent recurrence.

NCRs link directly to garment records, wash batches, inspection results, and operator profiles. If a recurring defect traces back to a specific machine or a specific wash programme, the data is already connected — no manual cross-referencing.

Corrective actions

Assigned. Dated. Verified before closure.

Each NCR can have multiple corrective actions. Every action is assigned to a responsible person with a target completion date. The system tracks whether the action is pending, in progress, or complete.

The NCR cannot be closed until every corrective action is marked complete and verified. This is enforced by the system — not by process discipline. Overdue corrective actions are flagged in the dashboard so nothing falls through the cracks.

Quality trends

Spot patterns before they become systemic.

NCR data feeds into quality trend reports. NCRs by category, by process area, by root cause type — sliced by time period. If wash temperature non-conformances spike in a particular month, the trend is visible before someone connects the dots manually.

Trend reports are available as on-screen dashboards and exportable PDF documents. Include them in client quality reviews, internal management meetings, or compliance audit packs.
